Feng Shui Tips to get you started

Order Up!

Place your specific order with the Universe to get what you want...just beware that it may not be what you need.  It is important to be clear and note that Feng Shui is very literal so if your affirmation reads "thank you Universe for my new husband" you may only get dates with married men.  A better affirmation would be "Thank you Universe for the perfect man for me!"
How you create your affirmation is important, here are some tips:
  • clear your mind and sit in quiet
  • write on new paper using a new red pen
  • then place your affirmation in a silver box
  • place the silver box in the Helpful People/Travel area of your bedroom (far right corner when you enter your bedroom)

Setting the Stage

Action follows thought so verbalizing and visualizing how you would like an event to turn out sets the stage and becomes the outcome.
For example, if you are dreading the upcoming family get together because your Uncle always talks about inappropriate topics that gets everyone arguing.  Set your desired outcome before you leave for the get together by visualizing and saying "everyone has a great time and there is lots of laughter and great joyful conversations!".
Be sure to wipe out any negative thoughts of past experiences.

Volunteering is Good for the Soul

To help others is to help ourselves because helping feeds the souls of all those involved.  What you put out in the world comes back to you 10 fold whether it is good or bad so why wouldn't you choose to put out the good stuff.

Continually giving will keep the flow going.  Exercise your giving muscle and you will be rewarded and blessed continuously.

There are various ways to help, here are a few:
  1. Volunteer at your local soup kitchen
  2. Donate blood
  3. Volunteer at your local food pantry
  4. Volunteer at your local animal shelter
  5. Monetary donations to your favorite charity

Here are some tips to help calm the chaos of your holidays:
  • For every holiday decoration you put out, box up an all year round decoration (perhaps in the same box).
  • Depending on the weather in your area, open windows to allow your home to breath.
  • Take a breath yourself and try not to beat yourself up that you haven't done enough...you've done enough and it's OK.
  • Enjoy the gatherings, surely there is something fun or funny about them.

Gather Around the Table

First, do you actually use your kitchen or dining table?  If not, how are your relationships going?
Our eating tables are key to our relationships, use them and your relationships are bountiful, neglect them and your relationships will neglect you.
Round tables are best as they allow everyone to see each other and the round shape keeps the conversation flowing.
Many fond memories can be created around the table where food, laughter and good conversation can nourish your body and mind!
